I'm not able to take the 2.4 ghz leap yet, thanks to a new business and new baby daughter keeping my wallet light (just spent $150 bucks on diapers at BJ's tonight!), so I've been trying to track down some new/used receivers to work with my Airtronics MX3S 27mhz FM/PPM tx to use in my woefully underused R/Cs. I can't seem to locate any - not on ebay or on the major online hobby shops. Also, I'm in Lake George, NY, and there aren't any LHSs nearby. I'm assuming that, since the 27 MHZ channel has fallen out of favor, as it has been stated by others, shops have just stopped selling the receivers. Supply and demand and all that noise. Does anyone know where I can go to order an Airtronics compatible, 27MHZ receiver? It can be on any channel or synth, as I will be using it with my Air MX3S. Thanks in advance for your help.

JR had synthesized RS300's in 27MHz (not sure if those work with Airtronics though). I think Novak has the XXTra FM receivers in 27MHz. Also, look at the JR R125, R200 and other older receivers. if you get a part number, you should be able to find some.

Thanks for your help, Dale. I'll try looking for specific part #s and models like you suggest. A couple Sanwa Micro Receivers are on Ebay right now, as is a Novak 2-Ch receiver. I can't wait to go 2.4 ghz - maybe I'll be ready to buy when the Futaba's "25PK SUPERFASSSSST" is available
