Hi guys since I was a kid I always wanted to fly a rc 1/ 2 A airplane, I think I waited long enough just turned 52 yrs but dreams never die, I was looking for some plans some time ago and a friend showed me the plans for a MINI JET it looked fantastic to me and wanted a fast plane since i had a TD 51 waiting for years to be used.

I was not wrong it flies really fast, I modified the wings building them an inch and half longer each, instead of an arrow shaft in the middle of wings to join them I used carbon fiber rods and made a servo base wich helped also to join wings, also put a single wheel for landing, the plane is equiped with: COX TD .051 , 5 / 5 proppeller , 3 hs 55 servos , spektrum ar6100 Rx, 4 cell AAA 700 mah batteries, 2 oz fuel tank and covered with ultracote.

It flies great and now my dream is fullfiled, hope you like it.

Hey alcarafa! It's great to see you in the 1/2A forum. Congratulations on your project. 1/2A, and the sound of a screaming TD can be addictive.

Unfortunately, your images aren't loading. It might be an RCU server problem.

Outstanding! I really like the canopy and the overall shape. I'll bet it looks great out there streaking around like a raped ape.

Better late then never! Plane looks fast, more so for a first 1/2a project. Your flying skills refinement on past projects of the larger types always help.
Glad you finally joined the minature fringe.
