Just seem in this months MMI, A UK company have bought out a 1/16th kv2 (they have a KV1 also) which in the near future will also be available with radio control and metal tracks and suspension. The cost WITHOUT r/c is £230 ($460 as the pound hit $2 today). One hell of a kit in the Tamiya bracket I think, best start my piggy bank savings. The web site is www.cammett.co.uk

Hot da**!!! Does that include VAT? Available now? I'm in if anyone over on your side of the pond can confirm the kit quality first-hand.

An expat buddy of mine is leaving for holiday in the UK this month & can carry one of these back with him right past China Customs.

I just accessed their website & see that the kits are all resin. Detail looks good, though. Have sent an email asking for more info.

Chuck

Can only confirm what the guy who is building it for MMI says, he's massively impressed with the part fit and lack of air bubbles in the moulding process, he doesn't have a bad thing to say about it.

The model looks the same as designer Phil Edwards (Record Models) produced.

His first one was snatched up and converted to RC. I have to say from my working with it, it is every bit worth that price!

This is an old favorite, I had about 3 of these in 1/72 scale from Fujimi when I used to wargame in that scale. Fighting in that part of WWII was perilous for the germans, having early versions of the PZ IV, Stug III, PZ III and mostly issued with the 37mm door knocker and pak 40 a/t guns.

Perilous for the germans! What about the Fins? They faced KV's with little more than AT rifles and AT guns!
