iwas flying my t-34 mentor foam build and i put in a brushless outrunner it was flying beautifully but it started to get away from me so i tryed to bank left but the nose went high like it would be in a knife edge i let off the power and i was able to turn again but when i gave it power it did the same thing so i was bringing it in for a landing and since i couldnt give it power i had to dead stick unfortunatly i stalled and smack the pavement i was able to fix the plane with some epoxy and packing tape love those foamys. So can anyone tell me what the heck was going on.

It's hard to say.

Your ESC may have overheated ( try a slightly smaller prop ), you could have overdrawn the battery, you may have a bad servo, a bad connector, etc.

The plane should be static tested by running it at 90% throttle and moving the controls until it hits the cutoff, then observing the behaviour of the control surfaces while you do so.

Of course it would be much more helpful to have some specific info too...

- What motor, battery, prop, drive and ESC.
- AUW of the plane with the battery in place.
- What RX and TX.

etc.

Just a suggestion: use punctuation – it makes reading a lot easier.

Sounds like you overheated the ESC. Some ESC’s will barely handle 3 servos and the motor, and if you go to high power levels you’ll overheat it. You may have to go to a voltage regulator for the receiver to allow more current to the servos than the ESC will allow. Have you put a watt meter on it to see what your power level is your pulling through it?

They guys in the electric forums can probably nail this down real quick.

It's also possible his motor mount is loose: "but the nose went high like it would be in a knife edge i let off the power and i was able to turn again but when i gave it power it did the same thing"

it is an 8x6 prop, a 1750kv brushless out runner, a 18a brushless esc, 11.1v lipo, and 3 9-gram servos.
