The biggest obstacle besides mounting it, is cooling the 4-stroke. There is normally a propeller and air speed to keep it cool.
I installed an o.s. 40 surpass in a Bolink chassis, and the biggest problem was keeping the car moving to cool the engine.
Just my 2 pennies.

Why would you want a less powerful engine anyway ?

To get the same HP and torque from a 4 stroke it would have too be twice a large as a comparable nitro engine , not too mention the cooling issues .

That's where the RB Innovations supercharger comes in. It will work just fine on a fourstroke, since there's an intake valve and exhaust valve operated by a cam, and with the cam grinds OS probably uses, they're not open at the same time anyways. A head shim and a supercharger will have that fourstroke performing comparibly to a twostroke in everything but sheer RPM and torque, the former it will lack and the latter it will have in triplicate.

OS also makes a dedicated car fourstroke, the FS26 C-SX and FS40 C-SX(discontinued), and the current FS26C-S II that is available right now @ tower.

@ OP: Do it, supercharge it, let's see some vids. Should be awesome to have a supercharged nitro that actually benefits from the blower!

If you can make your own water cooling system and blower, you got no problems figuring how to mount the engine . Do it, and post up some pics!!!
