Hey guys im trying to charge my 11.1v 2200mah lipo with the Esky balancer charger, ive got a decent charger but i know its good to balance charge your batteries every now and then. Its says on the charger it has a 0.8A output, so does this mean it should charge for roughly 2 1/2 -2 3/4 hours??
It says in the charger instructions: CAUTION: CHARGE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 120 MINUTES in big red writing so thats kind of worrying me.

Thanks, Daniel

Your math is spot on.

It won't hurt the battery to take longer than 2 hours to charge. The warning on the charger may be intended for charging batteries at 1C, or it may be an issue of duty cycle; the charger needs to cool down after 2 hours of continuous running.

What you may want to do is use your main charger to boost your packs up to about 3/4 charge (about 30 minutes, but not important to get it perfect) and then finish it off on your esky charger.

Slow charging at the end of the charge cycle is the best way to go.

For example, you don't continue running a water tap at full bore when you want to fill up a glass with water without spilling a drop. You want to slow down the water flow as the glass gets full so you won't spill any water.

Your esky charger might do that for you already.

I dont know whether the Esky charger does that.
