Gentlemen,

There are a few threads in the forum right now looking for parts. RCU policies prohibit these types of threads. Please move these wanted ads to the Marketplace section. Thank You!!

is there a possibility that rcu might review this policy. i havent looked in the wanted ads for over a year. this is for sure the reason people place the ads in this forum. seems like common sense should prevail, and make the forum even more useful to the customer. after all, without the traffic the ad rates would fall. barry

Wanted ads on RCU are totally useless. The only time I've ever had any responses at all to a "wanted" ad on RCU is when I posted a link to it in the jet forum and I got a few suggestions before the moderator removed it...

DITTO, I AGREE! YOU HAVE TO ADMIT, THAT OUR NEEDS ARE FAR SUPERIOR FOR SPECIALIZED PARTS THAN ANY OTHER FACET OF THE HOBBIES, BECAUSE OUR NUMBERS ARE SOOOO SMALL.

Please help us change this policy.

By the way guys, if everyone here started only using some other forum, and this section of RCU became a ghost town, they might change this policy, ya never know.....

Gentlemen, it is what it is because that's how it is. However, it may not always be as it is for long. We ARE listening and working on answers that will make organizational sense to the community. That's all for now...

eh? lol. I just posted the request for the gear because I didn't want to wait for ions for an answer. I knew that the people in this forum would answer me quickly. No one from here ever looks at want ads. I didn't even know they exist. Moreover, I doubt very seriously that anyone has read "the rules" stating such.

Seems kinda silly to me. But it's your board and you can run it any way you want to.

i've had 2 "wanted" ads specific to jets listed for awhile. one over a month w/ only 1 response to it. the other has been up for 3 weeks w/o any response...

Seems to the me the "want" ads for jets or jet specific items are kinda pointless in the "market place" IMO

So it is boiling down to semantics?

Wanted ad = I want to buy a glow plug for my jetcat.

Technical issue = Where can I locate a glow plug for my Jetcat.

Maybe we are over moderating this little community of ours.
