STS is sort of a crap shoot, you might get lucky and get one that lasts, but in all probability, the crank pin will break or go out of round. They almost require their STS 0702 header and pipe to get peak performance. They are tough to tune and parts are not easy to come across. If you get lucky, you will get a screamer. Here is my STS 30 doing its thing, but I pulled it. It made awesome power, but it seems you are either making power or fighting it. There was not much operating, wide open acceleration or shutting down. It would make a great drag car engine. I replaced it with an LRP and it is doing super. If you are mechanically inclined, I would cast my vote for the Picco, if you want to just go run, the LRP is a great engine. BB
