pull off your air filter and see how far the slide is open
dirt in carb
carb loose
start from scratch turn your mixture screw all the way in and back it out 2 1/2 to 3 turns that will get you in the ball park

How much run time do you have on teh k4.6. The k4.6 is super easy to tune. The springs also loose its memmory effect and get weak. Have you tuned the high speed needle first? How did you check your low speed to see if it was right? Also using a hot plug will make it start and idle so much easier.

okay thanks i'll try that, i probally got a gallon and half - 2 gallons not so sure, my high speed was great, fenominal, in fact once it stopped bogging it would take off and be gone, then i even fixed the boggin problem,

i puched it to test my tune i basically would start it at my feet give it about 1/2 throttle grab some break cut a turn then WOT and let it go abit the lots o breaks spin around puch it and bring it back and ajust, then again, i had it pretty good and the idle had started to settle a bit but, i took it to the track later and it was back again then i stripped the servo horn, on lap # 3

btw i was looking at hot plugs and tower says the # 8 is a med hot just throwin' that out thier

Well your low speed test is not really that effective. What you need to do is get truck up to operating temps. Make a few wide open runs. Bring truck back and do the pinch test. Once you get the truck back pinch the fuel line about 1" from the carb. The truck should stall within about 3-4 seconds. When this happens the idle will raise slightly then die within the 3-4 seconds. If the idle raises high then dies for longer than 3-4 seconds then you are too rich. If it dies immediately you are too lean. You have to do this on a hot truck and right after a wide open run. Thats the best way to get your low speed set but only once your high speed is set.

Also once you get your low speed set you can readjust your idle screw. You want it high enough to not turn the wheels but low enough to not stall. I prefer having a slightly higher idle.

Anytime you need to kill the engine you can pinch the fuel line or plug the exhaust. Either way it will stall adn it wont hurt the engine. Pinching the line works the best and quickest.

i accually have found the exaust plug with this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFRN7&P=7 very easy, but the plug is a good way to cuz then you don't need to burn anything off, which i often forget to do,
