I think that's just the stock turret with the asiatam recoil unit already installed. The transmitter is modded with a micro on the left stick connected to the 'K' switch.

That was my guess...the Asiatam recoil unit. Doesn't it have the LED built into it?

Yes, the unit is supplied with the flash led already connected, you just have to slide it into the barrel and glue in place.

Borealis can you draw how that switch would connect do you take both of the open side of the two switches ( Button & Forward stick ) and solder them together on a single open pole of the micro switch? Then take the two closed side of the same two switches and attach them to the two poles that close the circuit on the micro switch, and use the micro switch to initiate both at the same time????

Directly from asiatam fitting instructions:

The microswitch is screwed on the side of the left stick and then connected to the poles of the 'K' switch:

For combining the recoil unit + the DBC/DBU I have yet to decide wheter to connect the DBC flash unit to the HL board and disconnect the asiatam one or what.
That's because the DBC prevents shooting if the reload time has not elapsed, but the left stick shooting and recoil would bypass it, at least in the recoil movement, but without shooting the IR beam and playing the shoot sound in not reloaded.

what triggers the micro switch do you now use the K button or the forward joy stick?? Can you open yours up and show us more detailed pictures of that switch install?? I can see where to solder the to wires in the second picture but the first picture still does not make sense to me as far as what does the switch do?

I haven't assembled mine yet, so no pictures, sorry.

As far as I have understood from the parts I have, the left stick activates the recoil motor and the integrated muzzle flash.
The microswitch located inside the transmitter is operated by the left stick itself, when its pushed forward, and it closes the 'K' contacts, in order to add the tank 'boom' sound + full tank recoil.

This way, when you push the left stick you have: muzzle flash, barrel recoil, cannon sound, tank recoil all together.

If this recoil unit is integrated with the DBC, you can have: muzzle flash, barrel recoil, custom cannon sound, IR beam (+optional tank recoil, if not disabled) all together.
The only matter is that since the recoil motor is not disabled by the DBC, you could shoot a 2nd shot just after the first, but it would be limited to the muzzle flash and barrel recoil (since the sound and IR beam whould be disabled until the reloading time has elapsed).

If the recoil unit muzzle flash is disconnected and changed with the DBC one, at least you won't have the muzzle flash during the reloading time.

I wonder if putting a NO relay with coil connected somewhere on the DBC could stop the barrel recoil too during reload time. What about that Blitz?

AH you kind of lost me, why would you want to stop the barrel recoil? I think I am going to have to order one of these units for sure, but if you get yours going you can help use to get some answers!
