hey,
I haven't driven the vendetta in a few months. No matter how i try to set the esc, i can't get the truck to move.
I plugged a battery into the motor plug to test it, and it worked just fine... so the motor is not the issue.
Any ideas, the truck is about a year old, but pratically brand new since i never drive it.

thanks

The esc is crap, mine didn't last that long and neither did my friends. Even if you haven't driven it that much it probably just died. Get a different esc for it, it will run way better.

It may be the connectors...

Mine did that and it was the motor/esc connectors that were bad. So i switched everything to deans

While you're fixing your ESC do yourself a favor and get some Deans connectors and good wire; Female on the battery, male on the truck and charger side.

FGA: you want to hard wire the motor and put deans on the speed control as well as on your batteries.

thanks again for the tips.
I contacted Duratrax and the same day as my original post, and they just got back to me..they're sending me a free replacement esc. I know it seems to be garbage.. but for now a free replace ment will work, atleast until it goes again.

I ordered a few sets of the deans so i'll be set.

Better put in an order for a better one somewhere. The VR3 motor is great for small area trucking, but a decent brushless setup is just over $100. If you don't feel like spending money for another ESC for brushed motors you might consider getting into brushless.

I'd bet that ESC they're sending you doesn't last a month.
