Status: offline 		Hi i finally got the max started, i did away with that blue wire an now use my sons ignitor. It works really great. Anyway me and my son got the truck to idle really good and got a good amount out of the pipe. But when we tapped the gas it wanted to run backwards and not forward, why is that. I flipped the switch on the controller and it didnt make a difference. personally i dont even know if it was in reverse or forward to begin with when we started it. So can someone help me figure it out? Also is it better to run the dual pipes or the single stock? thanks mark

Status: online 		well sometimes i have 2 have the breaks on when shifting.....is the pin on the left side of the tranny in or out?

Status: online 		sry my sister has the camera an shes not home....you say you see the servo moveing...and the little bar/servo arm conected to that is to....in the past i have had trouble with the servo moveing but sliping off the arm

Status: offline 		Well, first off, does the forward/reverse micro servo still work at all? If it does, then try shifting from reverse to forward by flipping the switch several times; if that does not do anything, then it sounds like it could possibly be time to open up the trans case and have a look inside to see what migfht be possibly going wrong here....

Status: offline 		while were on this subject is there a way to lock out reverse and not hav the 3rd channel?
I just got a t maxx and found out the tx is crap and only have a 2 channel radio to use with it, will get a 3 if have to but rather not.

Status: offline 		try moving the pin by hand with the truck off, or take the horn off of the servo and move it in and out. sometimes the clutch can hang making it difficult to move.

Status: offline 		that transmission is rpm sensitive when shifting from forward to reverse
the internals of the transmission have to be completely stopped (or very nearly so) before it will shift
if the idle speed is high enough to cause the forward/reverse pawls to expand then the tranny will not shift
i suggest trying to shift from reverse to forward with the engine off, then start the engine to see if it changed gears
since you're unsure which way the controler is set you may have to try this twice nd/or by hand to see it it shifts
if you can make it shift like that then the idle is too high
if you cannot make it shift that way then a foray into the tranny may indeed be in order

Status: offline 		the bob above is right on what he said.....also....it is possible that there is something that is causing the shift fork to "hang" up in between gears, which might mean u have to open the trans case up to have a look inside like i mentioned above....
