i say there is no best truggy but you need to do a little research on each you're interested in and go from there:
the xray is good
new jammin is great
losi is good
mugen is good
kyosho st-rr is great

my personal choice for my new ride is the jammin x2 because it's a very durable truck and it improves upon an already proven truck(X1CRT) and makes it better...so no durability issues at all

ya the guy didnt have all the kinks worked out and had alot of problems with his setup and didnt land the jumps right

And I beat 3 guys running Losi's (8T) with my Revo..in a 10 minute long race by 2 laps..all it proved was the guys that were running the Losi's weren't that good..lol..proved nothing else..
