RC8T could be promising but a mugen or xray are always great choices

The thing I don't like about these types of threads is that people suggest what they have, and what they feel is the right choice because it's the one they made. All of the truggies listed are great choices and you won't go wrong with either. The only honest and unbiased opinion you will get is your own, so if you can, try out each of the truggies before you get them. If not, at least take a closer look at them at the hobby shop or from a buddy with one.
If you really don't have a budget, why not just get them all? I would if I had loads of money.

you're getting people telling you THEIR choices, you need to head to your local track and watch what people drive to see how the trucks handle the track. If you kiss enough butt, maybe some of them will let you take a little spin with one. It will also help to do some major research before blowing $700+ on a truggy, but everything that has been posted on this page so far is people's opinions, although i DO agree with some of them

Whatever you do, do not overlook the X2.

Yes im already singing songs of praises about it...

It is truly a great truck..

Take a look at the Xray too, I recentely built one for a friend, and the quality of the parts in that is absoloutely amazing.

The Kyosho is an incredible racer hands down, the guy at my track dominates with it.
