And I need a couple more of them.. But I forgot were I got them and

Fiberglass Specialties Inc: http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/ is a good source. The make nice cowls with few pin holes. I know that I've gotten cowls for the Carl Goldberg cub from them in the past. I think they have the cowls with and without the dummy engine, and enlongated for 4-cycle engines.

I'm recovering my Goldberg Cub again. I've had this Cub for at least 15 years and it flies great. I just replaced the original cowl with the Great Planes plastic cowl that brings the dummy engines and cooling fins. Its the same as the Goldberg one and only $15 from Tower Hobbies. You can save a few bucks going this route and looks great after completed.

ernbar ,
I tried that a couple months ago.. I ordered the windows and the cowl from
the great-planes 40 size cub and all the parts were to large..
(had to return all the parts)

is there something
else from tower I do not know about? can you post a link from tower to
that page? In the mean time I have ordered from the above link. but
would love to know what cowl fits the cub from tower. thanks,
Jeff

Cougar:

I compared dimentions from my original Goldberg cowl to the dimentions given on the tech section for the GP cowl and they were identical. I have posted some pictures of the GP cowl so you can see that it fits like a glove on my Anniversary Goldberg Cub. I shot it with several light coats of Lustrekote Cub Yellow paint. Here's the link to the product:http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=&FVSEARCH=LXJ906+++

You're welcome Cougar, glad to help. I figured that at $13.99 it wasn't a bad deal, and the original plastic cowl lasted me two minor crashes and 15 years of use. I also dumped the original flimsy balsa wing struts and made ones from K&S aluminum tubing.
