Status: offline 		Thoughts on vendor choices.

Pros
JHL, tempting, great pro customer service and 2 day delivery and get to start doing what I most enjoy and now: building.
Price better at my local hobby shop, which is the same price as Tank Museum.
ebay marginal better prices from Hong Kong and or SF, CA vendors over the other sources.
ebay's manheader (Patrick) reports August to Sept for Tamiya Pz4 delivery.

Cons
JHL: $1013.82 for the kit delivered to CA from Japan
JHL, don' need the Futaba AM radio, 1700 battery and wall charger which adds cost to the Japan release kit (could sell on ebay though).
JHL, pricey but fast/insure mailing fee.

Tank Museum, I purchased the Panther G from them, paid 100% (voluntary) up front for pre order, but they delivered my kit to the west coast 2 weeks after their event and release to East Coast tankers in May 2007.
Tank Museum, emailed/talked on phone to pre order and purchase the Jadgpanther from them, but new, rude, order desk person demanded that I pay 100% up front for Jadg pre order, lacking any good customer memory/record, she claimed the new policy was because of what happened with the Panther G orders, yikes. Instead, bought Jadg with no pre order deposit, from JHL and got it for premium price, but the day before Christmas 2007 (Kit delivered with the wrong AM receiver, no problem though).

Local hobby shop, longer wait.
ebay longer wait.

Verdict
Jury still out. LOL.
