The first plane I bought from Nitro-planes was an the F-15. I found this to be a a very stable jet capable of lower speeds. The only disappointment I had with it was the Glue it cam with. It never really st correctly and led to one spectacular crash. The crash it self was AWSOME. My friends and I love to see a plane disintegrated. It was even more fun because the plane was making a hard right when one of the Rudders disengaged from the frame causing the F-15 to lose control. I will attached a picture of the F-15 with an"S" shaped nose.

The day after my first flight of the F-15 I ordered the F-22 because I was such a fan. I was pleased to see the construction was better as far as the kits wing attachment goes, but I was disappointed in 2 aspects. First was the cheapness of the battery compartment. Ont of the cheesy hooks was off and stripped before I got it, nothing that a little tape can't fi however. secondly and more disappointing was the fact that it had mixed controls. (the ail & ele controlled at the same time) This made in my opinion the jet less stable and the flight characteristics were not nearly as good as the F-15. So I went to work and modified the F-22. I added 2 more servos and turned this into a real 3 CH instead of the 2. This plane now flys stable and is a wonderful addition to my collection. Bellow you will see photos of the mod. I thought this might be helpful for others who were surprised by the surface controls and would like to upgrade this jet.

For the price you can't beat it for what you get.

Cool looking plane. Is it, er,, was it very hard to fly ? I've been tempted a few times to try one, but thought it might be over my head..

The F-15 was easy to fly right out of the box. I have only been flying for about 8 months and found the plane easy and responsive. I would just use a higher quality adhesive than what is shipped with the jet.

The F-22 was easy after the modification. The total modification cost me about $50.

Hope that helps

Now days I think ALL ARFs have a "glue " issue. I like kit building, but also, like the quick gratifacation of an ARF now & then.
