I have a DF02 and I want to upgrade the motor to get some more speed though as I'm new to this I don't fully understand it all.

I have an ESC that can handle down to a 15 turn motor which is what I'm thinking I'll get, but some say there are 15x2. what does that mean and would my ESC be able to take it?

My gearing is still stock, what size pinion and spur gear should I get?

Status: offline 		in theory you should always stay at least one turn above the limit, ie 16 turn would be the last safe bet, if you ain't scared go for the 15 turn, There are only three smaller pinions that will fit, 16, 17 and 18, stock is 19, with stock tires and a 16 turn I would use the 70/17 gearing to keep the temps down but you may be able to get away with 70/18 depending on your driving style, battery qaulity etc.
