Well after this I have a few things im finding. Want to get your opinions.

1st, the nose wants to rotate to the right, to compensate, I have to have the control full opposite trim. Can this be corrected by adjusting the proportional port on the 3in1?

Next question.

My side to side movement seems pretty good, however my forward, back seems very dull. I can have full forward trim and full forward stick and still it creeps forward. What can I do to help that?

I would like the thing to be more responsive overall.

I have been loving my b400, so when I have to fly indoors I go back to the cx2. Just want to make it a little more fun.

Thanks in advance.

PS, I don't really want to do any upgrades to anything. I have other heli, i just want the throws to be enough to move the thing around some. My thoughts are to change the travel to 140% or whatever the max my dx7i will allow. and to move the linkage 1 or 2 holes.

Look forward to your advice.

Yes the rotating can and should be corrected by the proportional potentiometer and not the trim on the transmitter.

Does the helicopter hover fine or does it want to go backwards without any stick input? I am assuming your swashplate is level, so check your balance, it might be tail heavy. If all those things are fine you can do what you were talking about with the travel adjustments and the links on the servo horns. With the travel adjustments make sure the elevator and aileron are the same and make sure the swashplate isn't hitting anything with the sticks all the way they can go.

I can't describe the way it hovers...It kind of settles, and then goes back, and settles, then back. Speed it up 100x and I guess you could say it rocks slighty. Even with trim full forward.

Swash is level btw.

I haven't checked the balance since putting that new body on. Does anyone know how I would, there weren't any instuctions on it.

Handed my CX2 down to the kids and put a esky Dauphin body on it so they could see it easier and it makes a huge difference in flight performance compared to the way it was. Its gone back to being slow and dopey (very good for the kids learning) but it was fairly nippy with stock front canopy and home made carbon tail. Also cut big counter wieghts from flybar and replaced them with small collets, gave it better forward flight and sharper controls. I tried it be moving servo links out but the blades kept knocking together when quickly going opposite direction, I think there's a mod to extend top blades up higher.....hope it helps some

Also...one of my employees has one with all the flash harry upgrades and runs bigger batteries, his motors wear out a lot quicker and it seems to be one more than the other. Runs em until he can no longer trim yaw on rx so may be one of the motors in wearing down? Dont forget to disconnect batt after adjusting proportion or it won't change. I think with a body it disrupts air flow, the wash is trying to push down on it before it gets used as lift, fly it with no canopy or body then fly it with and watch the difference

I was thinking there were some balance issues with the jet ranger body, so that is why I was asking. To check the balance attach the battery, then put the flybar 90 degrees to the nose. So the flybar will be on the left and right side of the helicopter looking from the tail. Then hold the flybar. The helicopter will tilt foward, be level, or tilt backwards. If it tilts foward or backwards move the battery foward or backwards until the helicopter is level.

I found I have to retrim when I change bodys but not much. I have a jet ranger body and a sea hawk body but I find them to be a bit slugish. The best way I,ve found to fly is with a carbon tail boom.

Well I make all my servo and the throw...I get very aggressive forward and reverse flight. When I start to bank I cant do that very aggressively because the flybar hits...but at least forward and back it quick, and i can slow down to turn...not too big of a deal..
