I might have to use a video to describe this but ill try words first. Iv been staying on the ground for awhile just messing with the controls and realized iv been relearning this all wrong. to keep it straight i have to use right stick a lot to make it so it does not go left while going forward or right while going backwards. same goes for left to right, it seems to want to go front to back. i have adjusted the control links, used 2 other eflite remotes to make sure it was not that, and adjusted trim of course. with the motors disconnected it looks like everything is working right. when the main rotor is spinning, it is way off
help would be appreciated!

btw, i can get it to hover straight. but also the tail rotor, i have to have my left stick like all the way left to get it to hover without spinning and i adjusted gyro and the remote has trim all the way left too.

Is your swashplate level with the motors unplugged at half throttle in idle up? If you hold the flybar with the battery attached to the helicopter is the mainshaft perpendicular to the ground? You need to adjust the proportional potentiometer instead of the gyro gain. The gain won't help at all if the motors aren't proportioned right. Try turning the proportional potentiometer counter clockwise until the tail won't rotate with the rudder trim centered. Then turn the gain up until the tail looks like it is wagging then turn it counter clockwise a little. Are your blades tracking in the same plane? Did you switch any of the servo wires or reverse a servo channel on the transmitter?

I fly with black flat bottom plastic blades and it seems to work just fine for what I do.
