I have my 58CD for quite sometime and would like to change the ball bearing myself. I wish to get some information or tips on the timing of the 4 stroke after I replace the ball bearing.

Appreciate your tech support.

Status: offline 		They are really simple to time.
Get 2 toothpicks or wooden skewers.
Turn the bore so you can poke a skewer through the intake AND exhaust ports at the same time
(the opening in the port should be equally visible from intake and exhaust)
Fit to crank with piston at TDC.
All done.

Wow....yes its sound very simple. I will give it a try tonight.

TDC has to at the maximum right? It should be able to felt with the toothpick is that correct?

Status: offline 		Simply turn the crank until the conrod is at the very top ie, the piston is at it's highest, most extended position.
While holding the crank in that position, and with the barrel in the position of the port showing in both carb and exhaust, held in place with your toothpick in each, slide the piston in.
Bolt up.
Done.
