I also wanted to make a side trip to Monino on the free-day during my Moscow tour, but cud not get help in arranging the visit, from the local tour guide nor the hotel staff. Ended up visiting their Shuttle exhibit in Gorki Park. Can you please share with us some details of arranging your visit? TIA!

well..we organised ourself, we organised a driver (5000 RUB..not cheap), we called (our transalatorin) Monino to see if they where open and no need to send a pass copy.. and we traveled there..is around 30 km..est of moscow, traveling from the Mkad direction Nizny Novgorod
but you have to know where is it..there is no indication sing, no panel, nothing.. there is just a gate inbetween a forest, on the Highway and that is where you have to go in..and foreigners you have to pay more tan a russian national..and you have to pay too for a camera.. but..you can basically go to the planes, touch them, and so on..in pic my friend..going around
