Just got back from vacation, and my stepsons and I had a blast trying to burn through a couple of gallons of nitro. Of course, you can't have that much fun and not be breaking stuff ... so I did my best. Managed to lose BOTH front driveshafts.
In looking at the Volcano BB parts list ... don't see anything I can bve sure is the front driveshaft ... can anyone help?

thanks

Are you talking about the dog bones that goto the wheels or the one that goes to the tranny?

thanks guys ... after reading through the parts list many times, it seemed to me the only item that made sense was "dogbone" ... but since they use that term for multiple items ... I wanted to make sure.

Ya dogbone is pretty standard a name. Any time on pretty much any brand that you have these style drive shafts they're called dogbones, because they look like dogbones.

What some people do is paint their dog bones yellow so if they do fall out you can find it a bit easier. Just an idea. you can also add some tubing to help keep the bones in the drive cups.

Thanks Swamper ... that's a pretty good idea ... although the terrain we were playing on might have made theat irrelevant, LOL. I was thinking it was too bad I hadn't tossed the metal detector in the motorhome, LOL.
Chuckled when I saw your locale ... spent most of my life in and around Edmonton before getting transferred to Michigan.
