I have a tmaxx .15 pro and i have or had a 3.3 on it and she just lost all compression well i got like 7gallons on it so ya. I was wondering is it worth buying a new sleve or just buy a new engine through the traxxas replacement plan. As far as i am leaning i am saying buy a new motor buy ya i guess what ever. The only thing that scares me about new piston is the bearings are gunna be bad soon and the crankshaft is old so is it worth the money whan i just can buy a new one for 100 bucks. Thax

With that many gallons through it I would do the ERP with Traxxas. It would really suck to spend $60 or so for a new piston/sleeve and another $35 for a new con rod and then have your bearings pack out on you. For another $5 or so you can have a brand new engine.

Indeed, u are definately better off doing the Engine Replacement Program because for only about 30 bucks more than the total cost of new piston/sleeve/conrod, u can get a entirely brand new engine....

Ebay is cheaper then the Replacement program. I was thinking about doing the same thing as you until I saw how cheap they are on Ebay. I got my new 3.3 for $110.
