What are the Volcano wheel and tire size? I am looking to get some replacments from HPI but dont know what size to get.

the stock are 2.8 rims and tire i believe, hpi just go with 2.2 rims and tire i got these from hpi for the street, make sure they have 12mm hex.

There 2.8 tires and rims. 2.2 rims won't clear the axle hub holder on the Volcano SV.

You sure there not 2.8 rims? last time we tried 2.2 rims they rubbed badly on the axle carriers.

Stock is 2.8 for sure. Some 2.2s will work, but not all. The advantage of the 2.2s is a bigger selection since it is a more common size. But as Wade pointed out, they can rub to the point you can not use them if you get the wrong ones.

not bad... 1062 is the number on the sidewall right? Nice 2.2 tire to run with by the way! Decent tread life outta them.
