I recently got a new Exceed Forza buggy with a .18 engine. I'm still breaking it in, but I had to change the glow plug already. The new one worked fine for the first tank. But the little washer fell off into the grass and I can't find it, and now the engine won't start, and the pull cord is kinda hard to pull. I didn't have a washer (that I could remember) on the other one and it worked fine. It might be the ignitor, but if not, do you think it's the missing washer, or could it be something else?

A washer fell off? Not good. It may seem insignificant, but tiny parts can make big differences. For example, my buggy's front wheel drive stopped working because a grub screw fell out. A little tiny screw only a couple mm wide. Try putting the screws back to factory settings and if you still can't get it started find a way to get a new washer. Maybe Andy could help you with this.

The copper crush washer is important. Without it, the glow plug is too deep in the combustion chamber and increasing compression, which will make it (1) difficult to start, (2) not run well, and (3) run hot.
