ORIGINAL: Dancobsen Wow, I just got home from work, Ron told me he put this up here. Thanks for all the comments. LGM graphix, As far as the turbines I thought I would see if it would work, and it worked good. I saw a sign shop that advertised photo signs, so in the parking lot of the sign shop with my cheapy walmart camera, I took a pic of the Jet Cat Titan that we're going to put in this plane. I told him how big I wanted it and said I wanted two. I did the tear away and alot of the other paint then put turbine pics in place. They ended up having a white boarder around them, so I airbrushed black around the edges and put the lightning bolts around it. Dan Hey Dan, I thought that's what it probably was. A few years ago I did a couple pattern planes using that same technique, the sign shop used a machine called the "Gerber Edge". Did full color printing on vinyl. Pretty cool system really and was a quick way to get graphics onto a plane. Cool idea though, I've often thought of doing a jet with the "internals showing through" but didn't want to go through all the airbrushing to do it and didn't want to have a decal edge to have to hide in the clear, but after seeing the turbines on this ES, it definitely looks cool!
