The prototype is being flown with a P-60 with more than enough power. It would fly great with a 44 and would still have close to a 1 to 1 thrust ratio. This is truly a recession proof jet...3 flights per gallon of kero, unlimited vertical, easy to transport and flies great! Here is the link to the original prototype thread: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7056388/anchors_7056388/mpage_1/key_F%252D16%252CP60/anchor/tm.htm#7056388 The flights yesterday were a blast on the 8S setup. Although you can add cells and blast verticals, the 8S combo was great! Plenty of power and lightweight. Remember, less cells is less money for batteries! All new are the wheels and brakes. Regardless of psi (60lbs or 110lbs) these brakes work the same. They won't lock up the wheels and are just a great design. Here is the link to the new brakes and wheels. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7511603/mpage_3/key_F%2D16%2CP60/tm.htm I can't decide which one I like more, the P60 or electric! Turbine sounds cool and justs sips the kero...but electric is just so easy and with the price of 8S packs, you can economically own 3 packs and fly all day long. Russ
