I've read quite a few threads where you guys thought that I would be over paying if I bought a micro hydro from minicatracingusa.com for $299. Is there any other site that I can get it for less. Also, what would be a good equivalent V-hull that would rival the micro hydro? Let me know what you guys think.

That was Shane on the Gold Coast.

Last time I talked to him he was getting out of selling Mini Cats.
I have tried to contact him since but no replies.

He is selling on http://www.oztion.com.au/

http://www.oztion.com.au/user/user_detail.aspx?user=jet-netics

But doesn't minicatracingusa.com has sole rights to sell in USA.

There is another person selling the Mini Cat range on Ebay AU, I have brought a Cat and Bat from him.

do you honestly think RC world wide is going to turn down a purchas like that.. doubt it. its just a ploy to get them to buy from MCRUSA
plus the hull was no designed by MCRUSA. it was ripped off of a existing hydro and they are just producing them. so what makes that right?

Please don't read something into my post that isn't there................

I don't give a rat’s ass about MCR.

I will post up any information that can help out other RC boaters, but I don't want to post anything that is not allowed or get myself into trouble.

http://lazer-works.com/list.html

Save about $175-200 and build it yourself?

$22 for the kit (all the way to the bottom, Hydromite is the name).

Get the $24-26 Brushless combo off E Bay.

Nice micro receiver, 7.4 Li po batts and a good servo and be on your way!

Im building 2 of them soon.

Look inside the hull...does it have the "Tenshock" logo embedded in the fiberglass?
