taxi cab driver .... 65 year old. backed into me in a a parking lot.
1800 in damage. because it was a taxi company i doubt he is doing it through insurance.
either way i'm mad
the dints can be pulled out. there are no creases. the trim is 882 dollars
. window just got a quote for 320 plus install.
and then the dints to be pulled is around 550 bucks
she did a good job. moved the car about 10 inches when she hit me. no paint missing on the door. only the mirror got whacked.
only bad thing is i am getting my window done tomorrow because i need my car. so i will have to put out that money. and then get reimbursed for it after

That sucks! My moms truck is at the dealer getting fixed this week. She was turning left on an arrow and a car full of teenagers ran a red light and clipped her front end, destroyed her light bucket and scuffed up her paint and bumper. There were three kids in there, none had licenses and they all had warrants... two ran, the driver stayed... they found drugs and a gun in the car too... Luckily, the cars owner had insurance and they took full resposibility for it. The dealer included a new bumper on the estimate, but the original can be buffed out, so we are getting a big dent in the bed pulled out and painted (from a previous hit-and-run) instead. The other drivers insurance is providing a rental car for the week, its pretty nice, 2009 Subaru Legacy with 2500 miles, the thing is fast! Good luck with your car, I hope it gets fixed right!

Taylor,like we'd talked about last night in the chat room. If you want your car back to you faster?? two ways this can be done. #one have a new door skin put on it. #two get a good used door and have that put on your car. With a used door you get a door glass mirror and side molding all in one shot!!! If the molding is a different color or alum finish? that can be painted black!!If you do that you could get you car back the next day=bodyshop should have the door on before noon and painted before 5=you get your car back the next day! I've done more door jobs then you can think. To me that a piece of cake work.
