Does anyone wetsand their hull? Did you notice any difference? The finest sandpaper I had was too rough so I used a scotch brite pad and a dremel. It came out smooth as a baby's bottom but I have yet to hit the water.

I've heard of this, however never tried. I think the idea of this concept is to create little air pockets under the hull and to release the "vacume" that naturally occurs while a boat is underway. I personally know full scale drag boat racers that do this...they say it helps.

people do this all the time to boat hulls and props. It has a slightly noticeable performance increase.

Really only noticeable when you are going above 40.
