I just recently purchased this plane from Hobby City ($165 shipped without transmitter/receiver). It came well packaged and undamaged from China in about a week... overall, I must say it's quite a decent kit. There were a couple problems... the hinges on the rudder needed to be re-glued and the tailwheel assembly didn't come with the required plastic piece to attach to the rudder... and the landing gear is not sturdy enough to take off or perform any landing with rollout. I took the tailwheel steering wire and bent it so that I could stick it into the base of the vertical stab and make it fixed (lets face it, steerable tailwheels are useless at this scale). I have one aesthetic complaint in that the engine was mounted too far forward in the cowl and made the back of the spinner sit about half an inch from the front of the cowl... I trimmed off half an inch from the engine mount stick which moved the CG back ever so sligtly. The only thing left to do is bend a new 1/8" landing gear that doesn't fold under the plane's weight. I have yet to fly the plane, but it looks like it's going to be fun.

Seems like a lot to money to spend on an acft with that many problems. Thanks for the review/heads up.

Yeah, it's not the hottest deal out there... but considering it came with everything but reciever and transmitter, it's not a bad deal... I'm still happy with the purchase. Also, for people on the other side of the pond, the shipping would probably be lower than the $35 I paid... and it seems the suppliers are all overseas. All in all, it took me about an hour to put together with modifications/fixes.
