After an exhaustive search for a broken valve adjustment screw for an ENYA 80-4C engine I finally found that ENYA no longer has a distributer in the US. I found and ordered the parts directly from ENYA in Japan. The screw cost was 100 jpy ( $ .94) and the locknut was 200 jpy ( $1.86). Shipping was 1200 jpy ($11.16). ENYA will provide the current exchange rate when you order and accepts Paypal. Needless to say with three ENYA 4 cycle engines I'm delighted in spite of the relatively high shipping charges.
Hope this helps someone.

I have ordered several times from Ken Enya in Japan. The service has always been great, and like arrowsport, I found the cost of replacement parts to be very reasonable; much cheaper than OS parts, for example.

Here is the web site:

There is also a gentleman in Japan named Kaz Minato who is an Enya dealer. I have ordered Enya parts from him, too. He gives a small discount off the Enya web site prices:

Either source is reliable.

Sorry: The ENYA link is info@enya-engine.com Meant to post it initially but forgot. Been building planes since 1951 so you know why.

By the way, regarding the broken valve adjust screw on my ENYA 80-4C I made a temporary fix by cutting a 3mm machine screw to length with a Dremel cutting wheel, then inserted a carbide ball cutter into the allen wrench cavity and rounded out the bottom of the hole. It works fine: probably as well as the ENYA part. I ordered the correct part to maintain the integrity of the engine.

hello; I did the very same thing with my Enya 40 four stroke, the open rocker version. I ordered the parts from Steve Webb in England. This was before Enya had a web presence. Steve Webb has a remarkable stock of obscure Enya parts, and savvy parts people.

Hi:
We're having a heli/airplane fun fly from Thurs afternoon until tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon.
My 80-4C is in a Stearman Bipe that I drew the plans for and scratch built. Put 5 flights in with it today. 15-20 mph wind so some flyers are reluctant to fly and there's free flying time. A friend has a Great Planes Stearman and I let him fly mine. He said it flys just like his does. I had to dead stick the last landing. The exaust pipe where it connects to the engine loosened up and the leakage caused the muffler pressure to drop and the engine died. The nut is tight so I need to see why it's loose yet tonight. Tomorrow's another chance to fly.
