Its not compatible with anything else as in the way of Rxs. If you want a different electronics you have to change both Tx and Rx.

Does this answer ur question?

OK that's an Idea, what is a good 6 Chanel TX with receiver and servos for the HBK2, also how hard will it be to set up, Is there a vendor out there that I can send my HBK2 with the new
TX & RX for setup.

Can you recommend a good 6 Chanel TX & RX and servos and stay under $175 for my HBK2 with ESKY HH Gyro or I'll use my Futaba 240

You can get a Spektrum Dx6i with a nice AR6200 receiver for $169 ( http://www.ushobbysupply.com/product_info.php?cPath=47&products_id=591&osCsid=8a75fc935363757c3063020130d54fb0 ) without any servos. (Currently out of stock, but it may come back any time).

I was trying to set up my Dx6i a few weeks back, and FF, Z, and others helped me a lot. Not too hard to do with some good guidence! You should be able to find those threads here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7739309/tm.htm (gyro confusion) or here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7705302/tm.htm (general Tx and Rx set up).

Good luck!

How did you come across a Futaba 240? I don't think they make them anymore. Anyway, dx6i usualy go for about 100-120 on Ebay, TX only. A 6200 rx is a 2 piece unit and you might just want to go with the 6100e (about the size of a small match box with end connectors same as the stock rx for about 50$ max at your LHS or ebay. Really can't see any advantage to the 6200 and I intend to put rx in 6 more planes and cant warrent the cost or features of the 6200 in any of them.
Remember the more money you save the more money you have to spend on other toys!

i dont think the 6200e is full range rx. they still make the gy240. they have them at ka-planes. the ar6200 is a much nicer rx
