I have a ST 51 that has the HS need valve on the left side, and throttle lever on the right like all traditional 2 stroked i have ever used, is it possible to switch it around to where i could have the throttle arm on the left and hsn on the right, in other words can i rotate it 180 degrees and still have it function properly? It would make setting up a whole lot easier?

The problem with Super Tigre carbs is that if you rotate the needle/spraybar assembly so that the fuel nipple is pointing back (like it is right now) you will also rotate the cat's eye slit in the spraybar. This will more than likely mess up your midrange. I guess you could leave the fuel nipple pointing forward, but the tubing would have to loop around in the front.

In my photo, the brass colored piece that the fuel nipple is attached to is also attached to the spraybar. Rotating it rotates the spraybar. ST's can be finicky about their spraybar orientation, so you don't want to change it from how it looks in my photo.

ohhh, i didnt think about the spray bar issue, im glad i asked...... ill see if its managable to use the carb with the fuel nipple pointing forward, its on a profile airplane so it might just work. Thankyou Dave
