I haven't even offered my wife a turn. One of three things could happen: She could like it and want one, she could wreck it, or she could think it's pointless and walk away shaking her head. Out of the three, I'd prefer the last one!

Well the way I see it is at least she wanted to spend time with U/the rc. My wife has tried my tsunami and is a pretty good driver, but she's just not interested in the hobbie at all.

Think of it this way, its better if she wrecks a 300 dollar R/C rather than a $30,000 real car

Great video. She did great. Looks like she was having a blast. We gotta get more women into this hobby, but you need to get ready for the reciprocation. She did what you love, so does that mean you now have to go shoe shopping with her?

So long as he shops like she drives - noisy and at "full throttle" - she probably won't take him again lol

Why don't you MOVE AWAY FROM THE GOALPOSTS!!! Look at all the room you've got, and you park yourselves right there!!! Dude, you're just asking for trouble...

And thanks to this thread, I asked my wife if she'd ever had the desire to try out one of my trucks, and she said "I'd love to!". Uh oh...

Hahahah man.......... your in trouble. I use the goal posts so she knows how far away she can go.Kindda like a marker point.
Edit she tends to think these things will drive to calgary and not loose reception.

hahahahaha....dude i know the feeling about all that!! i gave my wife my old himoto scyclone and so far she has hit a curb like three times bending the chassis everytime and doing major damage where i had to practically do total rebuilds of the whole car lol.....she has hit the following.....ME, OUR DAUGHTER....TWICE!!, THE DOG, OUR OLDEST SON, OUR HOUSE, A FEW TREES...THE SHED.....and some how managed to make the car go under a fence that was 2inches of the ground lol...im sure there are a few more i missed as well.....lol lol!!!!!! i put some pics of the syclone in pieces in my gallery check um out lol you'll laugh...

but the funny thing is, she loves the hobby almost as much as i do lol...... now she wants three new trucks lol...the avalanche, a traxxas nitro stampede..and the new t-maxx..and the tornado bb...oh and now she just told me cause she was reading this post just now...but now she also wants the new team losi crawler truck..

andy

Lol I think we should of kept them out of the hobby. My wife said my monsoon and hurricane are hers now. But the good thing I get to buy another truck and all the parts I want so thats a good thing. I guess our wives need some more practice
