Another Bipe, and a very nice looking one at that. I'm starting to think this might be a trend for the current 09 schedules and the 2011 schedules.

Dang! Can't you see it? It's nearly as big as the bottom wing.

RE: Sebastiano Silvestri new F3A plane
I did hope for that Sebastiano Silvestri will make a full size F3A-plane and produce it in the same way like Angel 50 and Wind S 110E. A full size F3A-plane designed in that way would not have any problem to be below 11 lbs and will be very cost-effective. Wind S 110E is still to small to competition with.
Now Oxai does have Sebastiano Silvestri in theirs team (like most of the other top F3A-pilots). Now the chance that we will see a low cost full size F3A plane from SebArt is very small[&o].

Well guys this is as close as it gets to a full sized F3A plane from Sebart, she is still 1.94 meters long ... I wonder how much this will cost ... I did surf Oxai's site and some of the planes there are totally yummee ... lovely planes.

RE: Sebastiano Silvestri new F3A plane
It looks like Oxai is seeing the popularity of their planes go up and they are raising the price accordingly... at some point they will get diminishing returns when no one can afford to buy their planes. We'll be all "stuck" with the regular planes that fly just as well and cost 1/4 of the price.

RE: Sebastiano Silvestri new F3A plane
Good thing is we as pattern flyers have a myriad of planes available to us now. Most are pretty well made with the Integral leading the pack in good flying and great pricing. I'd hope that the prices of the Oxai planes and there seemingly great sucess in selling them would bring more competition to the market. As with everything things level off in time.
I thought that the Oxai planes at the Nats and there were a lot of them were the most beautiful planes there. QQ's bipe and a few of the Beryl GP's were the nicest planes I've ever seen. So people who can afford them see value in them. As long as they are selling at these prices than I don't see anyone getting hurt. Except if pattern gets assocciated with out of control costs. We need to spread the word that affordable/competitive planes exist.
Remember that 1st and 2nd in FAI at the Nats this year were Integrals.

Sell 10 @ $4,000
Sell 40 @ $1,000
You've made the same money for way less work selling ten. Not everyone can afford $4,000 for an airplane but they seem to have a waiting list.
You can shop at WalMart or you can shop at Sach's.

She is very beautiful ... sometimes I think why not get one like that. Just that one plane that you can really enjoy. But then again we all know planes tend to meet terra firma in the manner that we did not intend for it to. Still an Oxai sure is tempting. Only problem is can I ever fly her in the manner its built for ... I might end up like the Beverly Hillbillies ...
