totally different, nothing like the hsp version of the 1/10 buggy. Here are some pictures with comparison between the 2.

I agree with HimotoRacingUsa.....
If you are Racing in the Dirt or on a Dirt Track, the mxb-3 is the one for you.
If you are Racing with you Buddies in a Parking lot or on an asphalt street the mxb-2s will be somewhat faster.

You have slip adjustment between the front and rear ends, the thicker the oil, the more the front grabs. Also, there is no shift point to worry about, there is pretty much power thru-out.
here is a video of my mtr-3 truggy, basically the same as the buggy, i need to get some good video of the mxb up.

what atvantages does the center differential give
what atvantages does the center differential give
Also....
The model with Center Diff allows you to get more solid Traction in the Dirt.
This is a Simplified explanation, but here goes......
Lets say you are running in deep powdery dirt, and you are putting so much Power to the tires that your wheels are spinning too much and the car is hard to control, or you just Dig IN and Sink.
You can use a Lighter Diff fluid in the center, and your center diff will SLIP, and the wheels will not spin uncontrollably. This will allow you to navigate these conditions easier than a model that has a transmission.
Also, with a Center Diff, you wont have to worry about your car SHIFTING into 2nd gear, right in the middle of a turn or right in the middle of a jump.....
I would say that a Center Diff is a feature that you would normally find in a More Expensive and Bigger Vehicle, like a 1/8 race Buggy or Truggy.

maybe a tuned pipe but they are great out of the box. I put the 02124 pipe on it and that was pretty much it. Its a very good performer.

the stock shocks are good, they are nice size, not really skinny, the body is good too, mine is cut out so you can see the roll bar. We offer aluminum shocks and other parts but you really dont need them, its a nice buggy out of the box.

in my opinion a 2spd buggy is a waste...buggies are made for the track.. with a 2spd your your not going to gain anything...most likely if you got it on the track you will hit 2nd at the end of a straight, if you hit 2nd at all...3 diffs is much easier to maintain...far as radio is concerend a 2.4 ghz spektrum is hard to beat...the stock radio will be fine..just depends if you run with others on wether you have to worry about someone being on your frequency...another good radio to be had that you can find on ebay cheap is a jr xs3...this radio will let you change to 30 different radio frequencies

I tend to Agree with you Randy....
BUT, a Lot of these Vehicles never even See the Dirt!
How many Videos have we seen where somebody puts Street tires on these things and Slams em into a Curb at 40mph?

Personally, I'd rather Break em landing some Big Air, Rather than Bullseying the No Parking Sign!....[&:]
