http://www.h*bbycity.com/h*bbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4706 is an AWESOME setup (when putting in browser, take out * for link to work), i run it and gives good power, just make shure to run a prop saver and stock up on shafts

The brushless setup i have for mine as well as a couple other planes is this one: http://www.rchotdeals.com/Products/rc/Brushless_Motors_ESC/2208_18a.html
That includes motor and ESC with the bullet connectors already soldered on the motor and you solder your own ESC. I run a 8 x 6 APC electric prop (not the slowflyer one) and get great runtimes and plenty of thrust to handle up to 15mph winds. I do not use a propsaver but do bend a few shafts, mostly from dumb thumbing while trying fancy stuff.
Get a few extra shafts, they are cheap and can be replaced in about 5 minutes........

This one works great for me with a 10 x 4.7 Slow fly prop. I'm running a 25A speed controller though it won't pull anywhere near that current with that prop.
