Status: offline 		If a planes minimum recommened engine is 1.20 would the new YS 1.10 be enough? It is advertised being as or more powerful than most 1.20 engines.
Any comments?

Status: offline 		In theory, yes it would but that isn't the point!You said if the "minimum recommened engine is 1.20" That means MINIMUM on the power and there's one other even more important thing to think about... the weight or lack of it! The 1.10 weighs about the same as the/a .91...that is a lot less than a 1.20... you'll be needin' some weight up front.
The 1.10 is design to upgrade/retro fit from there .91 not down grade from the 1.20 which has it's self been upgraded to a 1.40 years ago.

Correction, the YS FZ110 weights around one ounce less than the YS FZ91. I weighed it myself on a small postal scale.

Yes, the new YS 1.10 will be more than enough if a planes minimum recommened engine is 1.20. The new 110 will put out a lot more power than the other 120 four strokes.
