Hello,
I have a MVVS .15 with a tuned pipe. Does anyone make a good ARF plane that can handle this engine? I have one in a kit built Sig Doubler that is very very fast.
Thanks for your help!!

Now pig - play nice....

Not a lot of smallish arfs out there unless you convert an electric.
look at sig lil extra for aerobatic airframe...

If speed 's the game......or if you can do a little work (mostly paint ) look at the JMGlasscraft thread and put that baby in a penetrator. glass fuse and presheeted wings and plenty fast clean airframe for that engine.

The more work you perform - the greater reward of pride of ownership

I would like to know what the performance of the MVVS .15 is. I've seen a piped .21 used on a 3D plane and it was awesome, had explosive throttle response when he gunned it.
There must be dozens of planes to choose from if you know your electric ARFs and read those reviews.

My Mvvs .15 that I have in a Sig Doubler turns a APC 7x4 at 20,100 RPM with 10% nitro.

That engine needs to be in something fast. I would look into the plane that Rocket Rob has been talking about.

If you want to build something that will handle te speed, then get an House of Balsa FW190 .049-.10 size http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=HOUK14

This plane with a magnum .15 turning a 7x5 apc at 20,000 runs 130 mph and can out turn MRS ashleys on the field.

The OS LA 15 also turn about 20,500 on the 7x5

And an MVVS .15 will only turn a 7-4 at those rpms? What's wrong with the MVVS?..

Sorry it was a typo, it's a 8x4 apc at 20,100 rpm. 10% nitro slightly rich.

Well, that makes a difference! That's hauling the mail for a .15. Actually, now it sounds high..

Not sure about final speed, but it looks like a fun combo. One of those "How Fast?" speed indicators, a stocked ice chest, a gallon of fuel a bag full of props and you will be set.
