Nice photos. Now there's the ultimate TD with a 17 pounder Man, that run into the ditch must have hurt Wonder how many teeth the driver lost or if the hatch rim creased his head. Turret crew can try and hang on, but the driver has his hands full on the laterals, clutch and shifter. Very interesting Achilles and I wonder how many of those were field retrofitted with armored tops. Driver's hatch is also interesting, as it was a VERY definate no-no to ever paint the interrior white. Or is a post war, privately owned photo?

Thanks Jeff.

Now go order that pump. My S class is dying to get in the water. Here are a couple more photos. Maybe this was a training exercise.
Last shot is a PE set for a 1/35th model. Good for reference.

Sure is a lot of rust/bad paint on that hull if it's any self-respecting military. Looks to me like it's been sitting abandoned for a few years.

that looks like the west wall around Normandy...or many places on the French coast. Couldn't be a leftover relic....at this late date.

When that VVSS Sherman comes out, there will be muuuuchhooo M-10s, M-36s and every conceivable Sherman variant under construction. Lots of guys who have Mickey Moused Shermans and had to keep the HVVS, will probably be upgrading them. In a couple years, it'll most likely wind up to be like Tigers & KTs are now...just too many of them. Hope when it does come out, they have a couple warehouses stocked, cuz they won't be able to meet the demand if they don't prepare.

My whole point to this is why werent the M26 tanks the main priority. after watching Tigers run all over Russia and Africa. I know they took longer to build and you could transport twice as many Shermans but they had years too work this out leading upto D-Day.
