Assuming you have a tail rotor with adjustable pitch, rotate the heli by hand about the main rotor shaft and watch the pitch of the tail rotor blades. They should move in a direction that, when rotating in the normal direction, would counteract your input.

Seems to me it is very similar. You can just confirm that the tail rotor rotation speed is counteracting the heli rotation in the above test.

Here's something else you could (very, very carefully!) try to be certain you at least have the right sense. This is definitely NOT recommended for anything but very small helis!!!

Dismount the gyro from the heli but leave it connected. Ensure you can hold it clear of the blades. Run the heli at low speed. Rotating the gyro one direction should cause the heli to rotate in the opposite. If it goes the wrong way, reverse (or invert) the gyro and try again.

I don't understand what you are trying to say.

I recommend you seek out local help.

I got the same problem and my Hummingbird is brand new , once the heli is 2 feet off the ground it won't stop spinning..
I give it counter ruder but just slows it down it still keep spinning.
Sooo weird, Im ready to throw out the window and getting a Picolo..

It sounds like you have it backward. When (standing behind the heli) you move the tail to the right (counter-clockwise) the tail motor should speed up.

I did this test you sugested and you are right , when i moved the tail the right the tail rotor speed up...so its not bakwards.. maybe the main motor has too much torque for the tail motor, I replaced the stock motor with a Speed 300.
I think I will put the stock motor back, bye the way with the stock motor it worked fine...

flyflie,
I am running a 9-tooth pinion on my Speed 300 (6 volt) with a stock tail motor and it works just fine. I used to have it running with the (old style) stock mixer (I'm running seperates now) with no problem. It almost sounds like the new mixers don't have enough mixing of the tail motor...

Would you please tell what do I need to run separates? is there any places I can look for a diagram of separates? I think I will go that route myself..

Thank you
