Hello everybody, this is my first post here. I'm so used to searching and more often than not finding exactly what I was looking for I've never really felt the need to post anything myself. Up until now that is. I recently got the E-Flite P-38 ARF, and plan on running it with brushless motors.
However, here's a little conundrum I couldn't find a solution to. Checking the LiPo batteries I have (3S, 11.1V, 2100mAh), they deliver 15C continuous / 24C burst (31.5A/50A). My motors are two E-Flite Park 450 (continuous: 12A, burst: 18A), with two E-Flite 25A ESC's. Am I risking drawing too much amperage from the battery with this setup, thus damaging something?
My electrical skills don't go very far, unfortunately, but I'm eagerly learning. Any help or insight on this is greatly appreciated.

Assuming that you are planning on running both motors from the same battery, your current draw should be 24A/36A from the sound of what you say, which will of course, be dependent on the props you install. that sounds OK given your battery specs at 31.5A/50A, doesn't it? (Assuming that you are not going to run at full throttle all the time.)

Both motors are running from the same battery. Props are 10x8. Would it be an unacceptable risk to run at full throttle all the time?

Almost certainly continuous WOT (maybe 36A) would do your battery great harm - despite the 31.5A continuous rating I'd never try to get much more than 20A-25A from a pack of that size. A 3s2p 4200 configuration would be far better.
