i meant the e firestorm flux. sorry.

ive heard that it can take it but it overheats and you can only use it for like 5 mins

That was the old flux with the 5700kv 2 pole. the new flux has a 4800kv 4 pole motor that can run 3s all day long.

Wait for the Savage Flux XS, by all accounts only 2 more weeks wait... it'll be head and shoulders better than most of the stuff referred to in this thread.

The savage flux isnt really in the same class... Its only 1/12 scale, more in the mini e-revo/slash area... The flux wheelbase is less than an inch more than a mini e-revo, while the stampede wheelbasae is more than 2 inches longer than a flux....

If you want a mini, it looks cool, I love my mini e-revo and its just the right size for where I drive most of the time, but I realise that mini's have limits, and are upset (crash) MUCH more easily than a 1/10 scale truck....

Vs other mini's, the flux will be great, it should be being bigger, but vs 1/10 scale trucks, its just not going to keep up.... (not just talking about speed, either)
