I just got back into the hobby from 8 years ago and i find it strange that none of the main hobby suppliers like great planes and hanger 9 do not have any 40 size areobatic models! All they have are some sport 3d and scale planes or electrics ! Why no scale 3d planes ? Only scale 3d planes they carry are in the larger 20% and up! Also what happened to kyosho i had their breitling cap 232 and several others all where very good planes! Anyways if you could direct me to some good areobatic models in the 46 engine size , also are these phoenix models that tower have, are they any good or are they cheaply built arfs ?

Not sure about pheonix, but I just bought a Seagull models Edge 540 ARF .46-.55 size. I will be running a Supertigre .61 in it as I want the extra power but don't care to much for 3D flying. From the research I have done this seems to be a very good model. Speaking of which if anyone knows anything about this that I should take into consideration please, let me know. I also have a Seagull models PC-9, good sport flying .46-.55 size plane, but as far as 3D just do a good search for .46 aero planes, I think your biggest problem is that there isnt a very big market for .46 size 3d planes as .60+ fly much better and people that fly 3D seem to like those more.

The GP Venus 40 is pretty good aerobatic model that is designed for non-3D aerobatics. Maybe this is what you are looking for.

FIRST OF ALL THANKS FOR THE FEED BACK BUT PLANES LIKE THE REVOLVER LOOK GREAT BUT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IS SOMETHING LIKE A EDGE,EXTRA,CAP,SOMETHING THAT. aLSO THE EDGE YOU SPOKE OF IS 46-70 AND IS HEAVY,I WOULD NEED A BIGGER ENGINE THAN A 46 TO GET GOOD PERFORMANCE FROM IT AND WITH A 60 IT WOULD BE GREAT! THE PROBLEM IS WHEN I GOT OUT OF HOBBY I SOLD ALL OF MY AIRPLANES BUT KEPT MY ENGINES THAT IS WHY I WAS TRYING TO FIND A 46 SIZE PLANE ! WHAT I SEE IS THEY HAVE MOVED THE SCALE AREOBATIC PLANES TO LARGER SIZES,MOST LIKELY DUE TO BETTER PERFORMANCE AND ANYTHING SMALLER THEY ARE SUPPLYING THE ELECTRIC CRAZE WITH NOT THAT I DONT LIKE ELECTRICS THAT IS THE FIRST 3 PLANES I GOT WHEN I CAME BACK AND THEY ARE AMAZING COMPARED TO WHAT THEY WHERE 8 YEARS AGO!

SORRY FOR THE LONG POST AND ALSO FOR THE CAPS DIDNT REALIZE IT TILL ALMOST DONE
