ok im new here so i think this is where im supose to put this. i have a Tamiya TT-01 and i want to use it for rally racing kinda stuff. and i was wondering if there was a few things to make it a little more off-road oriented. or if there is some kind of kit out there that is meant to that stuff. perfferably electric, but if there is a gas ill look into it, but thats off topis for this forum. thanks.

If you're going to rally race I'd suggest some upgrades to the shocks, the TRF shocks are expensive but you could always look at the 3racing ones. If you haven't already done it an aluminum drive shaft is a must. You'll also want good steering so a good servo would help.

Shock upgrade
Bearing Upgrade
Alum Drive Shaft upgrade

that should be a good start, you may also want to look at adjustable A-arms or full alloy A-arms.

Are you racing on hard pack clay soil, or just dirt?

i was already looking at the TRF shocks and figuerd the drive shaft would need to be replaced.

ill look into the bearings and the alum A-arms, dont want to have to keep replacing them.

the surface i drtive on is semi packed dirt, has some looser rocks aswell so ground clearance is kinda needed. im gona cover the internals some how, and make a skid plate for the bottom of the chassis. most likely a better motor too. probably make a good project outta this.
