Spending rc time with the wife, couldn't think of anything worse! Mates only, no wife's allowed! Leave her at home and pick your girlfriend up on the way.

I could not agree more..plus chicks cant drive so how are they going to know anyways..and why does everyone think that the radio that comes with the Losi RTR is so good..you still need better servos and the DX2 feels cheap..at least to me it does..and on the 2.4..most of the Pro's use FM radios..

All the top drivers in my area use 2.4, most use a FM with a 2.4 module.

Your wife some one you're going to be spending the rest of your life with, so why is it so bad to have her do something with you that you like to do? I don't get why people get married and don't like their wife to hang out with them or spend time together.

Marriage is a joining of 2 people (male and female) becoming as 1

Are u serious or being sarcastic?? Women should be banned unless serving the beer at the track!

How funny that this thread went way off topic...haha. I play with the rc cars about twice a week...once with the boys and once with her. Besides a normal workday I have golf, off-roading, motocross, snowboarding, the gym, etc as time for myself....I didn't need to spend the extra money to get her an 8ight because I doubt she'll get all hardcore about it. This girl likes to drink and watch porn so I don't mind her hangin' out when it's rc time...haha I don't remember how many lap dances she bought me for my birthday on our last trip to Vegas!

As far as the Spektrum that comes with the Losi feeling a little cheap, I agree...and that's why I'll upgrade to something better and she'll get the Spektrum. (she wouldn't know either way...she's a chick! hahaha)

True on the part of two becoming one. However, people need some space. Being with someone all the time can wear on people. Thats one of the reasons for being in the hobby, just to get away for a couple of hours and forget about the real life issues, that all people feel. Dont get me wrong, i love my wife, and love spending time with her, but when its play time, leave me alone.

Yeah, I meant its not the worsted thing, to have her drive with you. I do agree on the alone time (to a point)

Wow I'm going to have to disagree with alot of this...... 1st my wife can drive very well, she won her first time out against 9 guys lol ......2nd it's great to have her around at the track gives me something to look at besides a bunch of fat guys.......3rd I can always get time to myself if needed, but who really wants that, or maybe I made the right choice in ladies

I guess that just shows you just how bad of drivers you have in your area..LOL..I dont have a very good opinion of marriage..the divorce rate is over 60%..and most of the posting on most of the threads is all in good fun..I would hope that most guys see their marriage for what it is..one sided..lmao
