is it possible yes, is it worth your time and effort...probably not.

Why would you want to repaint your current body? Bodies are pretty cheap, it will probably take you at least 2-3 times as long to get the old paint off, then it would for you completely paint a new body.

Nice paint job. Why do you want to repaint it?

I saw it in some forum, you soak it with brake fluid for about 5-10mins (just normal brake fluid you can buy in petrol stations), the paint will fade, you will then have to wipe off the rest.

i read the same thing and have been wondering about it. The body on my vintage kyosho raider needs painting (i took after it with model paints and a brush as a kid) but don't want to wreck the body because i'm not sure if i can find another one.

Thing to remember is that you want a bucket of water around regardless of what method you use. Usually if it's strong enough to remove paint, it's strong enough to fog up the body. So right after the pain has come off dunk the body in water.
