Status: offline 		I have a simple question for all the smart guys out there. If I buy a a 2-3 cell lipo charger designed for a small park flier example: 11.1v 1500mah battery. Will it also charge a much larger 11.1v 5000mah? I was just wondering if I have to buy a large expensive charger.

Status: offline 		Yes it will charge larger(more MAH) packs but... and heres the catch it will take longer to charge. So if your charger is set to charge your 1500mah pack in an hour. Charging at 1.5 amps, charging a 5000 mah battery at that 1.5 amps will take over 3 hours.

If you got the time to wait for the charging, its no big deal. Course the higher the charging amp rate the quicker it will charge. Course don't charge higher than 1C unless battery manufacturer says its ok to, in this case your 5000mah, 5amps max.

Status: offline 		Also note that many chargers have a timeout or safety timer that shuts it down at 1 - 3 hrs. Your charger may or may not. If it did then a restart would be simple.
